I have 1 week of classes and 4 essays until I am officially done. Then my friend J is coming to visit from LA. We are meeting up in Sydney, then going to Cairns (Great
Barrier Reef) then back to Melbourne before leaving June 24.

ReplyDeleteThere are some good things about LA. I went to Toast for breakfast this morning. And then there's coffee bean. And Lisa Kline is now on Robertson AND Beverly Drive. I've actually never gone to the store on B Drive.
And Pinkberry! Have you had it yet? I'm not sure how long you've been gone.
Still - LA is LA. The traffic. The people. LA.

ReplyDeleteOh wow Kate, what fabulous pictures and stories! It's hard to believe you'll be in LA in a month! Yikes! We were absolutely blown away by Wilma the Wombat. Could you please buy an extra seat on the plane home and bring her back for us? I mean, we'll take care of the customs paperwork and stuff, and pay for her transport from LAX to here, no biggie. (Heh-heh-heh.) She just looked *so* cute! (The Princess knows less than nothing about Wombats, although she is obsessed with how cool the word sounds and how adorable they are!) Are they like Koalas and Pandas? Cute on the outside and meaner than all get out on the inside?
