My pajamas: they aren't preppy at all. They have holes yet I love them and won't get rid of them. My friends can tell you all about the Sponge Bob boxers (they are so soft and comfy though) and my ratty concert t shirts (Britney, Rolling Stones, BSB, whatever). The holes in the armpits of the tshirts are so big that I often put my head through them by accident! But I am trying. I really am. I now alternate my Sponge Bob boxers (I've never even watched Sponge Bob!) with my Lilly Pulitzer PJ pants :)
Does anyone else want to make an unpreppy confession??

I am with you--my pj's aren't the cutest--but hey surely are comfy!
ReplyDeleteI think the comfy factor in PJs outweighs most other considerations.
ReplyDeleteAs for my own non-prep behaviors, one of the worst is when I'm behind the wheel. I am impatient, I am unkind, I make rude gestures at other drivers on occasion (shocking!) - in other words, not at all ladylike or proper. I'm working on it . . .
oh i have so many, but one, is that i am a t shirt addict, i mean if theres a t shirt that is for an organization i will buy it, haha. i think i have hundreds.
ReplyDeleteunpreppy confession 1 of 28375928374: i don't make my bed everyday, but i do change my sheets twice a week, so does that count. lovespinkandpearls:: i didn't get the blog invite :(:( can you resend me one??

my unpreppy confession: i wear all black about 2-3 times per week. but then again, i'm not quite as preppy as most preppy bloggers. i don't know if i even count as a preppy blogger!
ReplyDeleteI am a tshirt addict as well. Most of my tshirts are not very preppy, but I only sleep in them, so that helps I guess!
ReplyDeleteI love velveeta shells and cheese! I had never tried it until college and when I did It was like a junk food explosion of comfort food goodness. I love it...I can't help it and if I need a good dose of comfy food once in a while I indulge....
ReplyDeleteOK OK. confession time. the most unpreppy thing ever in the history of the world is my vice...rap. I know, i know....i used to listen to it a lot in high school, and now just sometimes. it's hilarious though because i know all the words to the songs, and all my friends look at me and say "ummm you and this song don't match!" haaaa :)
ReplyDeleteI watch "The Girls Next Door"! NOT PREPPY! HAHAHA!
ReplyDeletei hate the way pink and green look together! thats like a preppy sin!!
ReplyDeleteDo we get to see pics of the spongebob boxers? ;)
ReplyDeleteHmm...I'm really into Christmas pj's but I think they're really cute. I have tartan plaid ones, and cute flannel ones with little ski men all over them.
I'm really not all that preppy though. So maybe THAT should be my confession.
I have to admit my pajamas are no where near preppy, they are yoga pants and some old lacrosse t-shirt i stole from my brother. haha
ReplyDeleteNot preppy confession: I have a secret tattoo. And I kinda want another. Hee!
ReplyDeletePS - I rock the old tshirts to bed, too.
Oh there is nothing like a comfy pair of pj's!
ReplyDeleteDitto on the PJs... except for my really darling old navy navy blue pj pants with white polka dots... preppy indeed!
ReplyDeleteWhat a good post - allowing everyone to confess. I guess mine would be that I don't like Vera Bradley. Things that become too popular are just not attractive to me. Vera Bradley, Uggs, Crocs. They are just too overused.
ReplyDeleteI do, however, have very cute pjs. :)
My unpreppy confessions: I'm very picky about argyle, stripes, and plaid. If it's not done right, I will absolutely abhor it.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I hate how I look in madras. It looks okay on other, but pretty atrocious on me so I stay as far away as possible from wearing it.
Mine aren't cute either but I beg to differ with you! You are preppy! Remember ally Sheedy (prepster supreme) wearing her boyfirends ratty shirts and t shirts to bed! There you go!
ReplyDeleteI have a really old, soft, x-large Ralph Lauren tee shirt that I sleep in and sometimes run in. It has some stains but it's just so soft.
