Even though there is no GG on tonight, (probably just as well with all of the homework I have!) I am still doing Gossip Girl Monday.
If you haven't already, check out this site/blog. It is the "official" GG blog from the CW website, written from the perspective of Gossip Girl herself. You can even add it to your google reader! There are posts that summarize recent episodes, "spotted" posts, music, books, and everything GG related.
I already talked about my obsession with the music featured on the show. I especially love the Constance Billard school choir version of "Glamorous." I love this montage of everyone preparing for college, putting on their school uniforms and headbands (of course).
Mostly I love how the school choir is singing this not so appropriate song in their assembly. This reminds me of my high school. I still remember how my freshman year during some welcome event, the seniors sang to us "Move Bitch" by Ludacris. They changed the lyrics slightly but the message was pretty much the same. (M and N- do you remember that??) When we became seniors, we sang "Build Me up Buttercup" to the freshmen. So not the same!
PS-This version of Glamorous IS on the CD I posted last week
