So pretty! I've always wanted to go to DC when the flowers are blooming. Actually we were there when I was like in the second grade so I don't really remember it.
Kate, Found you while bloggin' about. I lived in DC for 5yrs(originally from Palm Beach FL "home of Lily")& love cherry blossom season. It sooo beautiful! Love your shopping navigation to anchors! We love the water so much we live & work by it now in Deale, Md. FYI... Annapolis is only 50min'sNE of you. Google "Pink Beach" cute shop in the Harbour Center Annapolis & make a date to visit(bring your camera). You will get your "Preppy anchor fix"...make sure you go down to Annapolis, Main St. waterfront, especially fun on Wed. nights for sailboat racing that goes thru summer. If you are really up for adventure, My Capt.hubby & I run TSA,The Sailing Academy at Herrington Harbor(this is were DC goes for peace, water or boat fix)come for a sail (for free)and get all the anchor pic's you want. Anchors Away,
Those are such pretty pictures! THANK YOU, THANK YOU for my wonderful swap package!! I promise I have not forgotten about you... I have to pick up one more item that (hint... got monogrammed) and then it will be in the mail!
My BBF is a politico wife who just returned to sunny SoCal. Said it has been freezing there the last couple of weeks, all cloudy and depressing. So glad spring has finally come your way.
:) this put the biggest smile on my face- thank you for posting the lovely pictures :) the cherry blossoms at j-m are special to me since they always bloom around my birthday :)
Returned to Los Angeles after spending four years in DC for college. I spent a semester in Australia and loved life down under! I love shopping, traveling, and of course all things preppy! Now a full time nanny for Baby H.
pretty!

ReplyDelete*tiny tear* I miss DC so much. I mean, sure the traffic's terrible and the summers are so humid you feel like melting - it was home, and it was good.
