Ok since I am currently unemployed (I did have an interview last week at least) I will admit that there isn't a big difference between my weekends and weekdays. So really this post should just be entitled "Saturday night" ;)
I met
Angela (for the first time)
and Danielle (we had met before)
Happy Hour at Pink Taco cannot be missed. Happy hour prices (drinks AND food) + outside patio + great view = you should go at least once during the summer
Danielle and Angela will be doing their own updates so I won't write too much. I will say I had a great time. The girls even saw my room (which is currently under construction). Sneak peek**:

** yes, this is a mirror shot. We forgot to ask our waitress to take a photo of the 3 of us. Then we got back to my house no one else was home so we attempted an artsy mirror shot. Danielle's face is just a giant flash so I cropped so you could see part of my room
Other highlights included Danielle trying on my Vineyard Vines whalehead and Angela modeling with my Lilly Pulitzer bottled water. Both girls had apparently never seen color coordinated books (yep, I have my books in rainbow order!). Danielle loved Angela's cell phone monogram so much that she is hosting a monogram decal giveaway over at her blog: here.
This was our best attempt at a photo of the three of us:
Your room looks like it is going to be absolutely lovely.

ReplyDeleteSuper cute room...I would love to see more of it. It's a Lilly paradise! I am up at our summer place now and one of the neighbors has an enormous real anchor, painted a cheery blue, for a front lawn decoration. I thought of you...I will take a pic and post it for you!

Love your room picture! I'm not a frequent "commenter" but I have the same pink & green whale picture frame. I also had the same picture of the two little girls in it FOREVER, until my husband had a great idea and put a postcard we had lying around in it instead... now when people come over they don't ask who the girls are!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new blogger and just found yours. :) I'm also on the job hunt, and know what it is to not really have "weekends" anymore! It all blends!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the interview! Keep up the good work! (but enjoy the time off while you have it, haha!) Your room looks like an incredibly happy place; if I were you I'd be reluctant to leave it, especially if it was to go sit in a cubicle all day!
