Reader Heather submitted this great photo of her father! Her father is on his Catalina 22, heading out for the Brown Jug regatta (his yacht club's annual Labor Day event). He was the commodore of the club this past year, so his commodore's flag is flying in the background. The captain and his crew (Heather and her mom) all wore matching polo shirts, stone pants/shorts, and custom-embroidered hats with the boat's name on them!

My Apartment: my new table!

Just got this brand new table from Crate & Barrel on Saturday (it was on final sale so I got it for a really great price!). Unfortunately I still don't have chairs but I love the table! I'm just borrowing the blue chair from my mom. I think it goes perfectly! Don't my new placemats from The Preppy Princess look adorable on the table?
