My sister's baby shower was this past weekend at the Napa Valley Grille. I loved how the room was above the main dining area, allowing the room to be filled with natural light while also being private. My stepmom did all of the decorations and I think she did such a great job. We went with an animal theme to match the Dwell animal invitation from Tiny Prints that my sister's best friend picked out (which also matches the nursery!)
Balloons and animal topiaries:
My favorites: pig and hippo
Pompoms and "it's a boy" elephant banner
Centerpieces: my stepmom sewed the tulle that's around the flowers, then added ribbon and pinned on an animal finger puppet. So cute!
It was my idea to use the Little Gorilla book as a guest book. H's cousins/family gave him a copy when he was born and I loved that they all signed it. I thought it was perfect for the animal theme baby shower!
Table with guest book (and swan topiary)
Cupcakes with bunny topiary
View of the table (with elephant favor boxes, bowls of animal crackers, and personalized Hershey Kisses)
Wooden animal pull toys in the center
Advice cards/well wishes for the guests to fill out
The details:
Animal Topiaries
Elephant 'it's a boy' banner
Elephant favor boxes
Animal soaps as favors (inside the elephant boxes)
Cupcake toppers
Elephant advice cards
Elephant and giraffe napkins
Cupcakes
Pompoms these were really time consuming to "poof"-I recommend trying to find ones that are easier to fluff (if that's a possibility?)
Hershey Kisses with elephant stickers on bottom
Wooden animals: Manny and Simon push toys
I made the signs for cupcakes, gifts, guest book using the same Dwell animals from the invitation (though different arrangement of animals)
Little Gorilla book
