I'm back!

15 hours of travel (at least 8 in the car, 6 on the plane)
14 kids under 18
10 number of times I thought I was going to pass out from the heat
5 number of times I attempted to hide from relatives only to be spotted because of the glass elevators in the middle of the hotel (no where to hide I tell ya!)
3 nights of sleepovers with my sister (aka gossiping about the rest of the family)
2.5 Krispy Kreme donuts consumed
2 stops at Sonic (wish we had one here!)
1 unforgettable, whirlwind reunion weekend with the whole family!

This is the only photo I took the whole weekend (several relatives used fancy cameras to document the weekend). It pretty much sums up most of the weekend: coming back from the lake (nothing like 108 degrees!), stuck in the very back of the mini van. I am smiling because what else are you going to do when it is 500 degrees out and you are smushed into a van and driving around because the driver (my dad) decides to take a "scenic" drive?

I truly had a wonderful time in Missouri. The heat was awful but I loved spending time with relatives I rarely see. No matter how crazy, there is nothing like family! And yes, I did sneak off to see Magic Mike with my sister ;)

  4. Sounds like you had a lot of fun! When you don't remember to take any pictures that usually means you were too busy having a good time! Curious to know what you thought of Magic Mike, I def have my opinion :) Thanks for linking up!

  8. Oh my gosh...I love the attempts at hiding from your relatives. Stupid glass doors! And 2.5 Krispy Kreme's? How does someone only eat half? I didn't think that was physically possible.

    Thanks for linking up!

  10. Sounds like fun! That kind of heat isn't a good time, but I think finding ways to beat it is!
