What's on your current city bucket list?

Earlier this summer Leeann posted her Los Angeles bucket list. It got me thinking about the things I have always wanted to do but have never done here in Los Angeles. It's funny because I grew up in LA AND moved back after college yet there are things I have never done in the city I live in. Are you guilty of this too? What is on your bucket list for your current location?

Here is my list for Los Angeles. If you have been to Los Angeles I want to hear what you loved! And if you haven't been here then tell me what you want to do if you visit!

Hike to/around Hollywood sign
Eat a Pink's hot dog (the owners live in the neighborhood I grew up in but I've never been to Pink's)
Go to a movie at Hollywood Forever Cemetery
Go to a Laker game (or some event at Staples Center)
Go to MacArthur Park and Echo Park Lake (I see the fountains in so many TV shows and movies and think it's one of these two parks?)
Shop the flea market at the Rose Bowl
See something at Disney Concert Hall
Venice canal walk
Ride Angel’s Flight railway

  1. I attended a concert at the Hollywood Bowl--loved it. Also went to Catalina Island. I've had a Pink's hot dog. The Rose Bowl flea market is on my bucket list, too, although I don't know how I'd get my treasures home.

    1. You would have to bring a separate suitcase I think ;)

  3. I hiked to the Hollywood sign and it was one of the toughest yet most incredible things I have ever done! Granted, it was close to 100 degrees that day, so that probably attributed to the difficulty level :) In Boston I am terribly guilty of not taking advantage of all this city has to offer, but this summer we've been total tourists and better at knocking things off our list!

  4. There are like 10 differnt ways to hike to the hollywood sign! The ones I have done have all been super easy, as long as it isnt hot! The pinks line is always so daunting but I ahave always wanted to try!

Have you hike Solstice Canyon? I think that is my favorite hike in LA!

And the Rose Bowl flea market has been on my list for ages! I am going in August!

    1. I had brunch at Magic Castle (birthday party for a classmate in middle school). But I have heard dinner is more fun because it's 21+ ;)

My sister lives in Venice but I've never done a tour of the canals!

I will add Yamashiro and Geoffreys to my list!

  9. I would say drive down Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway), because it is absolutely gorgeous. You're on the Highway, and can see the ocean.

Also if you're ever near the UCLA campus, head to Diddy Riese for an amazing ice cream sandwich. You pick your cookies and your ice cream and it's super cheap and did I mention delicious?!

Also, going on a tour of Warner Bros. was super cool when I went there. I got to go on the Ellen set, Friends set and some other TV sets and it was overall just really cool!

    1. I have driven up and down PCH. It is beautiful!

I have been to Diddy Riese more times than I can count ;) I brought cookies to a 4th of July party

I've never done tours of the studios but I did visit the Pretty Little Liars set. I would love to see the Friends set and go to a taping of Ellen
