Fall Essentials for the Coastal Prepster

I was really excited when Kellie from The Yuppie Files asked me to guest post about fall essentials while she is on maternity leave. To see my full post head over to The Yuppie Files to see what I think are the fall essentials for the coastal prepster!

Nautical sweater: this is my number one essential! A nautical sweater can be paired with shorts and sandals for early fall and then pants or a corduroy skirt and boots as it gets cooler.

1.Lilly Pulitzer shelly sweater: comes in two colors (both blue) and don't you LOVE the anchor on the back? As the weather gets cooler trade in your shorts for some navy corduroy pants.
2. Nautica anchor crew neck sweater: don't want to splurge? This Nautica sweater is just under $50
3. Vineyard Vines anchor and chain sweater: I love the tiny red anchor and chain at the top. Early fall I would pair this with shorts or a corduroy skirt. As it gets cooler this sweater would work with jeans and boots too.

    Any of these sweaters would be perfect for my trip to the Cape this weekend!! I love that they are still fun and summery but perfect for a cool fall day!
