Here is the before photo
Since I have all white walls I wanted to paint the monogram so it would pop on my wall |
And now
I just used some navy spray paint I had. SO EASY! |
I added the monogram above my bed. I am embarrassed to admit that after 2+ years in my apartment I STILL don't have a headboard. It is on the top of my list! I attached the monogram with the velcro command strips from 3M. It is very light and I sleep with my comforter over my head so no major earthquake risk. We have had several moderate earthquakes in the last few months and it hasn't fallen or moved at all.
Love the look of the monogram in navy, especially with your matching bedding!

I thought it went perfectly!
DeleteI have a Southern Nest one I painted white, but I am LOVING this in navy - may need to steal your idea :)
ReplyDeleteI loved the white but wanted it to pop against my white walls
DeleteLove the color blue you painted the monogram!

The funny thing is that I bought the spray paint before I bought the bedding and before I even thought of painting the monogram!
DeleteLooks great! I have one in gold that I really need to paint, but I'm trying to think of a fun color instead of my usual black. :)
ReplyDeleteI think gold would be fun! Keep it gold!
DeleteThis turned out great! Love the classic blue and your bedding is so cute!
