Pacific Northwest Trip: Vancouver Granville Island

Monday morning we woke up early and headed to a quick breakfast at The Templeton. We wanted to spend the morning walking around Granville Island. Granville has a public market, shops, restaurants, art galleries (and studios where you can see local artisans at work), a theater and more. For kids there is a separate Kid's Market which has an indoor Adventure Zone (four levels of climbing structures, slides, tunnels, and more), toy stores, a book store, and a magic shop. Plus there is a water park outside!

Tug boat for kids to play in (right outside the Kid's Market)

For lunch we picked up food from the public market (bread and cheese, fruit, and mini donuts) to go. We had to get on the road to Seattle!

    1. You could spend hours playing in the boat or inside the kid building. Plus there is a cement factory on the island that does an open house in the spring for kids! The cement mixers I saw were painted like a strawberry and corn on the cob!
