Exploring the Venice Canals

I didn't have to work Tuesday so I decided to explore the Venice canals. This area has man-made canals that were built in 1905 by developer Abbot Kinney. There is such a mix of houses: new, modern houses and then old, original bungalows. Little Rascals and Valentine's Day both feature scenes shot in this area.

  1. Love the canals! We always take visitors there because they are so unexpected (and close to Washington for an after-walk drink).

    1. I just love looking at all the houses and seeing how people decorate/use space. Such a pretty area
