I'll watch the first two episodes of a new show and then decide if I want to continue watching. New shows in BOLD. I am including shows that premiere in September, October, and November here.

State of Affairs, NBC, 10 P.M. (November)
Castle, ABC, 10 P.M.
NCIS: LA, CBS, 10 P.M. (not happy they moved this one to Monday night at a later time)
TUESDAY:
Selfie, ABC, 8 P.M. (watched the pilot ondemand and I think I'll give it another episode)
Manhattan Love Story, ABC, 8:30 P.M. (Evan from Greek! But I am thinking this will get canceled pretty quickly :(
Marry Me, NBC, 9 P.M. (I am still mad that Happy Endings was canceled. This is the next best thing I hope)
Forever, ABC, 10 P.M.
Awkward, MTV, 10 P.M.
WEDNESDAY:
Modern Family, ABC, 9 P.M.
Law and Order: SVU, NBC, 9 P.M.
Red Band Society, Fox, 9 P.M. (Will probably watch OnDemand)
Nashville, ABC, 10 P.M.
Stalker, CBS, 10 P.M. (this may be too scary. We'll see if I make it through the premiere)
THURSDAY:
Vampire Diaries, CW, 8 P.M.
Reign, CW, 9 P.M.
Scandal, ABC, 9 P.M.
Gracepoint, Fox, 9 P.M. (I don't think anything can beat the original, BBC's Broadchurch. I probably won't watch if it is truly the exact same show, American version, which is what I am hearing)
A to Z, NBC, 9:30 P.M. (I watched the pilot ondemand and I loved it)
How to Get Away with Murder, ABC, 10 P.M.
Elementary, CBS, 10 P.M.
SUNDAY:
Once Upon a Time, ABC, 8 P.M. (I have all of last season on DVR. I may not catch up in time so this might get dropped for now)
Revenge, ABC, 10 P.M.
I just watched the Selfie pilot too and thought it was pretty funny, but not sure where the storyline will go. I will def watch a few more episodes.
ReplyDeleteThe only issue I might have with it is second hand embarrassment (ha) for the things she does. She is so clueless! But I thought it was funny and I am always looking for 30 minute light shows to watch when I'm blogging or watching something scary
DeleteDVR is the best thing ever!! I am so excited for Homeland, The Walking Dead, and Nashville.
ReplyDeleteIt really has changed how I watch tv! I want to watch Homeland when the series is over. I don't get Showtime though. I can't wait for Nashville. I wonder how they are going to hide Hayden's pregnancy!
DeleteWe gave up cable over a year ago but Hulu is our DVR! I can't wait for The Mindy Project to return, as well as The New Girl and Brooklyn Nine Nine. I love Modern Family too. We binged on Revenge over winter but it kind of lost us this last season. I love watching for the clothes though!
ReplyDeleteAll of my friends and both of my sisters rave about The Mindy Project. I think I might try to watch that this year.
DeleteI'll watch a few episodes of Revenge and see if this season is better. I thought it dragged last season but redeemed itself the last couple of episodes.
PBS has been knocking it out of the park for me. Breathless was excellent (only 3 episodes--part of their Mystery series). I'll stream Downton Abbey when it starts later this month in the UK. Last Tango in Halifax was another good series.
ReplyDeleteMy whole family watches Downton but I haven't seen it yet. I wasn't able to record it do to DVR conflicts but I hope to catch it on DVD eventually.
DeleteGreat lineup! I can't wait for How To Get Away With Murder, Marry Me, Gotham, and Mulaney.
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything about Mulaney. I think I have too many shows this year! I have Time Warner and they just emailed to say that starting this week you can only record in HD. HD takes up so much room on the DVR. Luckily I can watch some things OnDemand but I'm still annoyed!
