Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec City recommendations wanted!
I am heading out of town next week for my vacation! As much as I enjoyed Legoland last weekend I am ready for my own trip ;) My sister and I loved Vancouver so much that we decided to head back to Canada. I am looking for any and all recommendations on restaurants and things to do/see in Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec City. We will have a couple of days in each spot so I want to make sure to fit in as much as possible!

I was just in Quebec last week for spring break. Check the forecast carefully because it was still very cold. Look for great little pastry shops and enjoy a bowl of café latte. Don't be shy to try maple anything! The slide outside the Chateau Frontenac may still be open and is a lot of fun. On the nautical side there is a store in the lower old town called Captain d'abord which you may like (nautical clothing). Have a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteThat's the hotel I stayed at but despite the snow the slide was closed :(
DeleteCaptain d'abord and that whole lower old town area were so charming!
E-mail me! I've got some recommendations I can make depending on your current plans. I must say I'm kinnnnd of offended that you won't be swinging through Ottawa on your way between Toronto and Montreal.
ReplyDeleteWhen you are in Toronto, go by Collette Grand Cafe. It is the cutest coffee shop and restaurant at the Thompson Hotel. {Link to my post} I would also hit up the Distillery District if you have time. Have fun!

I really wanted to make it to Collette-it looked so charming! We tried to make it to the Distillery District but ran out of time. I definitely want to go back so I can see everything I didn't get to this trip!
