Aloha!
I am traveling for work the rest of the week. I decided not to bring my computer this trip (that's a first!). I am hoping to get some pool and beach time in while enjoying my (likely) last trip with my little H man. I hope everyone has a great week and weekend!

French Kiss premiere in Marina del Rey
Tuesday night I went to the premiere of the short film, French Kiss, from Marriott Content Studio. The film is just 24 minutes long and you can watch in on the official site or youtube. The film is about an American businessman (played by the late John Ritter's son, Tyler Ritter) who meets a beautiful Parisian (Margot Luciarte) while he is in Paris. The film is very romantic and charming, with some amazing shots of Paris.
Photobooths are the best, especially when you have a friend to pose with (Leeann from Join the Gossip) |
The premiere was held on the rooftop of the Marina del Rey Marriott. The panoramic views of the city and ocean are breath taking.
After the film there were French themed appetizers and desserts |

OCRF Super Saturday Recap
This past Saturday I went to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Super Saturday in Santa Monica. The event was hosted by Rachel Zoe and Molly Sims! OCRF’s Super Saturday was created in 1998 by Donna Karan and the late Liz Tilberis. In 2013, Super Saturday raised over $3.7 million for Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Leeann came with me again this year.

Coastal Living inspiration: Beachy porches and patios
Coastal Living rounded up 47 beachy porches and patios. I have loved having a balcony but I dream of having a big porch or patio one day (ideally both ;) I'm still not sure where I am moving to next. But whether I am by the beach or not I will always have the nautical decor to make me feel like I'm right on the water!

High School Reunion
Last Friday night I had my 10 year high school reunion back on campus. It was great catching up with friends and seeing the changes they have made to campus. I even snuck a peek inside the very nautical sailor surplus store where you can buy anything and everything with the school logo (anchor).
After the official reunion party we headed to the W hotel in Westwood for drinks. Someone brought a yearbook so we could reminisce even more!
I wore the Madewell dress I mentioned last week |
I was so happy to see that the arts and crafts and collages are still going strong |
Anchor valance inside the sailor surplus store. I really want the backpack for grad school! |
